During the last week of July we rounded up good catches of mangrove snapper, muttons, and several yellowtails. One of my fishermen from Tennessee brought up his first hogfish which was small but rewarding for him. Fish are getting ready to spawn and they are in a feeding frenzy.
Lobster mini season was a great adventure too but numbers didn't seem to be as high as years ago. We limited out but it took some effort to do so. |
