This is a question that was PMd to me yesterday... and my answer follows

Q: How often do you update your blue water supermap? For the past week it looks like it's been the same picture.

A: Bluewater Supermap continuously updates 365, 24/7. New Supermap data is posted as that data becomes available - which is several times a day.

Look at the Sea Surface Temp & Chloro data as an example. We have all the hourly shots posted as they are received every day. =)

If there were clouds in the way at the time of a satellite shot, there will not be any good data available, but we post those anyway in case there is a tiny area with data - which just might help someone out there.

SeaView provides cloud masking features but SeaView is $150 per year thru Supermap. On the free side, you get exactly what the satellite took shots of.
