There are 4 Imagery displays under SuperMap's Satellite data option.

(1) Current Infrared Imagery
(2) Current Visible Image
(3) Current Water Vapor
(4) MODIS True Color

Current Infrared Imagery:
Infrared Imagery measures the temperatures of cloud tops - that info can determine how high the clouds are. Cold colors represent high clouds. The warmer the temperature at the top of the cloud, the lower the clouds are and the darker the color on the map.

Current Visible Imagery:
Visible images measure the amount of sun reflected by the clouds. Dark areas are where small amounts are reflected back to space. Bright areas are places where large amounts are reflected back to space. Thick clouds reflect more light than thin clouds. They appear brighter in a visible image. Current Water Vapor:
This tool points out where there is moist and dry air. Moist areas are white on the map, and dry areas are black.

MODIS True Color:
This shows the colors of the Earth and waters as it appears to our eyes. Oceans are shades of blue, clouds are shades of white, and land is "earthy" colored.
