Grouper bite was not bad! What an awsome day out. I got up before 0300 and we managed to have lines in 16 miles off shore by 0900. Started at Jessie's Ledge and the grouper were all short, around 19". The BSB were really niice though, caught a few 19" BSB. So, we moved on to Sneads Ferry big rock and then to Cripple rock. As always I end up at Cripple Rock and as always it produced some nice fish for us. Plenty of small BSB and then grunts and pinkies and finally some nice grouper. These two were 17 and 15 pounds on the hanging scale. Absolutely beautiful day on the water with some good friends. Best part, we got back and filled up the truck and the boat and the four way split on the gas bill was $25 each! _________________ "Pamela Jane"

Nice Grouper!
Cripple Rock sounds familiar, but I don't think I've fished it. Looks like a good spot! =) |
