Pensacola Offshore with the "Total Package" 11-23-

Late report, but just got back home from Tgiving with wife's family in Pensacola. Capt DQ pointed me towards the crew of the Total Package for a fishing trip with the various in-laws. Weather was a bit sporty, but luckily we caught it between fronts and were able to get out.

Capt Sean did an awesome job of putting us on the fish. We had to change plans from trolling and bottom fishing to just bottom fishing as a couple of our crew were puking. So we worked our way from ~30 miles out towards the hill hitting a bunch of spots along the way.

1st stop was for AJs. After boating a couple, was definitely glad to get those guys out of the way. The rest of the stops were for triggers and beeliners. Did real good on the trigs. No grouper made an appearance.

Boy I've read all the reports of red snappers being thick and always took it with a grain of salt, but man did I get a firsthand look at that on Wed. We must've caught and released 100 of them to about 20lbs. Capt would move off the spot as soon as they moved in like sharks. Also had a fun encounter with dolphins stealing fish. Have plenty of experience with sharks doing that, but dolphins doing it was a first for me.

Have to give a shout out to the mate Jeremy. This young guy is a true professional. He busted his butt all day for us and really made sure everyone had a great time. Can't say enough about him.

All in all we had a great time with a great capt and crew.

Thanks oob241 for that great report, glad you guys had fun. Capt. Sean always does a great job for his customers. Sorry the weather didn't make it easier on y'all...but looks like you did pretty good.
