So my dad is in town and he has been for close to two weeks now. He is leaving on Sunday. Thursday is calling for less than a foot. Has anyone gone out for Dolphin and Wahoo yet this year? Is the blue water out there? has anyone heard of any weed lines? Should I make that run? Is anyone else going out ?
FYI...He would be happy just catching Bonita. I'm the one that wants to get him his first Dolphin.

| I am going. Have not heard any reports of any blue water fish. Thought I would just try bottom fishing and maybe pull some lures between spots around the east edge |

Good Luck! You may just find ya some of those fish that have traveled East to get out of the oil.
The water is just now warming up out there enough to warrant us going that far. Tonight shows 72s out there. On May 3 (last seaview color b4 the thick thick clouds) you would start to find CLEAN water S & SE like about 30 mile mark plus ... MLD zone showing SE too in the 300 & 200' contour lines.
Let us know how ya do!!! |

| I don't know if there's anything out there but I am thinking about going this weekend just for the hell of it. I might try the Squiggles if the sat shots pan out. I have to start somewhere sometime and I'm wore out on Cobia for this year. I'm going to wait on reports from today and tomorrow and decide then. |

Now ya'll got me interested in going just for a boat ride if nothing else, never know when lady lucky will smile on yeah. Sure would like to pop a O'no or Maybe have a Mr Blue Suiter come by and give a show.
I'm going to start checking the Bluewater Supermap for whats happening to the Southeast of P'cola or by the Ozark and ridges.
