The weatherman was right again. So we headed out to do a little deep dropping out of Pensacola. With a five man crew we were able to catch our limit of a good grade of snowy groupers. Several came up on manual jigs. We are trying new ways to catch some longtail bass. We moved in to 200 feet and had a ball with the AJ's. Toady we were able to catch 21 different types of fish. With just about everything close. All the gags,ARS,scamps were relesed to fight another day. The 35 degree cold trip out was about enough to come back in early and the fact that the superbowl was being played today. Made for a shorth day on the water. Come on Spring. Looks like a great short day! Over 20 species of fish is awesome. I love variety. _________________ www.bluewaterjigs.com |
