1. Arrive Early. The traffic around DC sux. Leave yourself enough time to get there on time.
2. Dress in Layers. DC can be really really cold this time of year or fairly warm. Like an Ol'Boy Scout, Be Prepared.
3. Wear Comfortable Shoes. It will be a long day.
4. If you are driving Private....PLEASE take the time to write "FLORIDA FISHERMAN" in your back window of your car. And write on there "Florida-Offshore.com" too for that matter!
5. Wear Foul Weather Gear. Too many people think because we own boats we are rich. Show them we are hard working Americans.
6. Call Your Congressman or Representative and ask for an appointment.
7. Take the time to explain to EVERYONE you meet why we are going to Washington to protest.
8. BE NICE TO EVERYONE!
9. Be on time!
