Went to Norriego Point this afternoon for some sun and salt. Water was green, not exactly murky, but not gin clear at all either. There were nice blues hiding underneath some grass lines floating in. Pinfish everywhere. We put the snorkel gear on and went in to take a better look around. After a while of watching gray snapper, small grouper, yellow tails, blues, crabs, and some tropicals of some sort, I called it quits - I need a better mask!
As I was walking around the seawall I heard a loud whistle in the distance. I looked around to see Scott running out of the water. He was yelling "THERES A BARRACUDA DOWN THERE!" LMAO... I was laughing so hard. Better him than me! =) It was about a 3' barracuda swimming around the rocks of the wall in approx. 5' of water. When it saw Scott it swam the other way. Bare in mind this is his first face to face encounter with a big toothy Mr Stinky. lol.... kind of alarming at first but neat in the end. =) _________________
