Capt. Bob Zales has decided to put in his name for the upcoming vacancy on the Gulf Council . For any of you that do not know Bob personally I hope you will get to at one of the upcoming meetings. I was employed as a captain, personnel manager, and operations manager. Responsibilities varied with the different jobs I held. My responsibilities ranged from all aspects of being responsible for boat operation to being responsible for all aspects of company operation.

Between semesters in college, I operated several vessels. My responsibilities included boat and passenger safety, complete maintenance of vessels, and acting liaison between chartering passengers and vessel owners.

During summers, I was employed as a deckhand on several vessels. My responsibilities included handling of all tackle and supplies, routine maintenance of the vessels, and rendering personal services to chartering passengers.
