There is a video preview of SuperMap if you want to view it before you try it on your own.
It is in the Video Gallery (link at the top). |

| Did you double click to get the reading? It's working on mine. Click your begin & end point, then double click that last point to get the measurement. |

Single Click to start........Double Click to Stop. When you Double Click is when it will show you the distance.
Text List....
Download the list (There is a Download Link in the Selected Waypoints Menu) and open it in Excel and Print it.

i have found that measurement screen appears differently from computer to computer. it was not readable on the computer that i am now on but was visible on a dial up. myine is comcast cable. why might that be?
also the download takes allot of time, whenever a screen is changed it is like the program is re loading all points eventhough i would like for it to only download for a region i could select. any suggestion _________________ RICK

I have not seen this. The tool itself is differnet? or the Icon is different?

We do have a speed issue. The service is very popular. Just before the July 4th weekend there should big a hugh speed increase. Everytime you change screens it does download the titles involved each time. You are used to panning and zooming on a single picture (that you can dowload all at once) where this map is not like that. Each pan and zoom movement pulls new images. This is both good and bad. The good is this is why it is SOOOO much more accurate and the bad is you have to redownload from the server.
Overall this is a work in progress. This is our first season so we are tweaking things and changing hardware trying our best to get it as fast as we can make it.

Discribe the functions that you want here? The same zoom? The same layers?
I have not thought about it...but that would be a really cool feature. Have a preset series of layers and zoom levels. It is do'able. I would doubt I could do it during this season...but I could include it in the offseason retool.
Thank You for the suggestion. I like it.

the measurement screen appears in the lower lft hand of my screen and i can only read a liitle of the first line. it is as though i need to scroll down to see the rest of the message
when you click on seaview, there is a drop down box with various selections that may be checked. when you check one, it develops a chart, you then have to goo back toit the drop down to add a nother selection. how can you save the preferences once set or is that not possible.
i also sent you an e-mail on your paypal. your service cost 200 and my account was debited 231.89 when seems to be a EURO exchange difference. i was not informed of this sur charge or i would not have used your payment service and would have sent a check _________________ RICK

Rick,
I have no idea why. As I told you in my e-mail I will happily refund the difference out of my pocket.
I have had many many people bought access to it and that is the first time I have heard anyone mention it.
Send me a Screen shot or forward me you Paypal invoice and I will refund the difference.
Yes you can do that. Once you have selected your shot....the menu retracts. There is a small arrow on the top right that if you hit it..it will reopen the menu again.
Is that what you mean?
Feel Free to call me at 910-458-3145 and I will try to get you fixed up. I will be on my cell most of the day tomorrow at 910-264-3973.

Dave, it would be helpful and speed up things on your site if such things as the drop down box remember pre entered preferences. as it is now, there is a reload every time you elect a change, if you want to save several, the screen reloads after each individual selection. these kinds of issues are strickly program design issues _________________ RICK

Rick,
I will do excatly that. I do not know of a reson why we could not. It might take a little time to get it done....but it is in the works.
