| Went out of Destin about 10 :00 Friday, smooth seas but air temp still in the 50's. Ran out about 27 miles to do some jigging. We had some good hits bringing up some 32 to 34 inch Aj's using silver speed jigs. We tried some pink butterfly jigs but not much luck with that style and color. Bite was steady. We fought a fish for 20 minutes and thought we may have a shark on the line but up comes a 50 inch AJ . After that fight the big boys showed up and be got owned by three UFOs and lost or only three silver jigs and the bite shut down. They did not like any other color style I had on the boat. Ran back in with flats seas. Fun day but chilly, come on warm weather. |

It is a blast when you hook big wally and you just can't do anything with him but sit back and let him run. Which silver jig were you using? _________________ Formerly Spineyman |

| I do not remmember brand but it is long slinder, sliver with a couple of glow dots on the side. Where we were any thing with a silver belly worked. I think a standard dimond jig would have worked yesterday. Maybe they liked silver because water was dirty and the could see it better. Last year they seemed to like the pink butterfly and mackeral color. |
