My boys are still out of school so when the weather broke I took them fishing for one last 2009 hoo rah.
We didn't have to go far to find the Gags. We sent down live pinfish from the traps I had set inshore. The first and biggest Gag was 25 lbs. When he hit that pinfish and the rod bent over I threw my rod down and grabbed my son and the rod because it looked like the Grouper was going to take him for a swim. He didnt though and my son looked upset that I was trying to help him. Daddy is just cautious and I stood there to make sure. My other son tried to beat the big one but came up 5lbs short with his 20 lb. We were back home by 2pm with 4 Gags. Happy New Year to florida-offshore.com members! |

| The weather looked good over here. I am sure it was great to get your sons out for a great day with dad on the water. And I am sure they will remember the grouper also. Gene |
