Arrrgh, folks on the network sites keep posting their reports in every state but the one they actually caught the fish in!! lol.... These seperate state sites were built for hosting each state's info & individ fishing reports so they wouldn't all end up on 1 huge site.
Anyway, here's 1 copied from SC-Offshore:
5/11 & 5/13 in Islamorada
Was down in Islamorada last week and took two trips out. First was nearshore for tarpon and yellowtail with capt rick stancyzk out of bud n marys. Ended up with ~25 yellowtail in about an hour. went inside for tarpon and had a bunch rolling around the bait, but none wanted to chew. was a good time anyways and rick was a great captain.
wednesday we went offshore with scott stancyzk on the catch 22 out of bud n marys. hooked up a 35 lb dolphin within site of the hill and about 10 minutes after we left the dock. rest of the day was pretty constant. ended the day with 29 dolphin in the box. at one point we went 7 for 9. had a shot at two sails, but they weren't chewing. capt scott and his crew were extremely knowledgable and could spot fish a mile away. had tons of fun.
sure was beautiful down there and the fishing is so much easier than up here. but then again maybe its too easy and might get boring....yeah right |
