SuperMap's Nautical Mile Ruler

With the NM Ruler Tool in SuperMap you can:
(1) Measure the distance in nautical miles from the dock to the fishing grounds
(2) Measure the distance in nautical miles of your entire fishing trip - to the grounds and back to the dock
(3) Measure the distance in nautical miles between two or more fishing waypoints

How To Get NM Measurements:
(1) Open SuperMap.
(2) Click Waypoints and select the Waypoints you wish to display. Zoom into the map a bit to better see the waypoints.
(3) On the left side of the map, select the NM Ruler icon . If you have selected the Ruler, the highlight square around the Ruler will turn from red (off) to green (on) in color .
(4) Now, single click on a starting point. You will see a brown circle appear.
(5) As you move your mouse over to an ending point, you'll see the straight line, brown ruler appear.
(6) Double click on the end point to get a reading.
( 7 ) Your distance in NM will appear in the blue Distance box at the bottom.

To start a new distance measurement, double click again on the end spot. This will clear out the previous reading. Then repeat the steps above for a new one.

To get distances between several points or "round-trip" distances, single click to each spot. To get the measurement, double click the ending location you choose.

NOTE: One Nautical Mile = 1.151 Statute Miles
So, 10 NM = 11.51 Miles
