Don't understimate the attractiveness of you and Scott from the large State of Florida to Penn or other sponsors!!! I had a neighborhood couple( both worked) who fished the SKA and they had all kinds of sponsors. It was clear that they were talented but they, as a young couple, were very attractive to their 6 or so sponsors. They had Evinrude, McKeeCraft, Lowrance, etc. as I remember their boat.
Just give it some thought and send that "bloody belly" picture with your application!! Regards to you all!! _________________ Bert

I wouldn't mind taking a look at them up close... but I haven't seen any around Destin. | No we have been testing them for Penn. the one I like the most is the TRQ S5 with 50 pound braid. One of our the PFF post shows it while deep dropping in 700 feet. Gene |
Team Recess, you are out of my league if yopu are field testing for Penn!!! Good Luck!! | There is alot more then wanting to test new gear for manufactures. They have to want you also. If I may recommend to some one that wants to test and get involed with testing. Post up some good quality and numbers of fish caught. Get with your local sporting goods store and talk with them about it. Mgrf reps are in the stores all the time and you may just fit the bill to test a reel or wear some type of offshore clothing for testing. And they will seek you Gene

I do. I do.
I will high speed troll some though Because we love grilled wahoo and 12knots is a great way to get from mark to mark, while searching for new ground.
Did you know that if you high speed troll in an S pattern you will get 3 times as many bites as just going straight? That search pattern is perfect for marking bottom areas.
Ultimately the whole day is about the jig bite. _________________ www.bluewaterjigs.com |

Happy New Year from IRAQ!
Started jigging last year since I had a new crew and had to operate the whole time while holding and a wreck! Now my crew has to take over controls while I am slammed against the gunnel.
Have the Jigging itch reel bad right now! Just ordered a Saltist 5000 spinner and OTI 400G rod for my return home in Apr. Since my wife took over my Trevala/Sustain set-up. She just didn't know how much that will cost her in the long term!
Keep up the Great Post! Helps me get my FIX!!!!!!!

| That is all I do... But While I am jigging, I will let out a flat line with a cigar minnow. But all the other rods on the boat are jigging rods... Love it!!! |
